| Re: I'm New I'm starting college this year, as a music major. I'm studying hard for orchestra playing. I never really caught on to jazz. ...And my current goal is to figure out how to sound like Tom Hooten (Atlanta Symphony). |

| Re: I'm New It sounds like you have some worthy goals. Do you know what sort of program your college has? Is trumpet going to be your main instrument? Have you already started private lessons with somebody there? The lessons will be one of the keys to success in developing your playing style.
