Introduction

I just joined as a part of my quest to revive a fixer-upper 1959 Olds Ambassador coronet that was given to me recently. I’m from Seattle, and have played off-and-on for over 40 years. I used to play a lot in college. Currently I jam with friends or play in a small amateur community ensemble. My main horn is a Benge 3 MLP which I bought new in 1976. I love that horn, but I always wanted a coronet because of the warm tone... and now I have one!

Re: Introduction

Of all the Sith Lords, consider yourself most welcome, although sunshine and Seattle are somewhat of an oxymoron! Welcome anyway! Which part of Seattle do you hail from?

Actually, the part of "Seattle" that I'm from is the rather large city of Bellevue, right across the lake from Seattle. Thanks to you and MJ for the welcome.

Re: Introduction

Well, that seems to be a trend I've noticed among trumpet/coronet players: You can't have just one!
