Martin Committee ' ST' ???

Hi
Trumpet player here in Milwaukee soon relocating to NYC.
I acquired a new Martin Committee ST 3460 6 years ago.
If anyone has any info on this model I would appreciate
hearing from you. Note.....the horn is an ST model, 3460, quite different from the regular model. I think it is the model horn Miles played in later years, maybe even designed according to his suggestions?
Anyway the internet yielded almost no info on this model and
in fact I couldn't locate any others out there.
I"m wondering what years it was made? How many were manufactured
and what the approx value might be? I mean is this a rare horn or just
nothing special? It is lacquered brass. I like this horn compared to the
standard model. It is lighter and has a shorter valve stroke and the valves are different.
Anybody??????????

Re: Martin Committee ' ST' ???

Do you have a serial number on it? That will allow you to date the manufacturing of it.
Is it SILVER? Perhaps the ST means Silver plated, same as Bach ST180-37 , maybe.
Martin Committee Trumpet (Black) - #201,9XX : USA Horn

Do you have a photo you can add?
Cheers
