my fellow fanatics

Hi,
I've lived in New Orleans for 24 years and have steady gigs at restaurants and hotels. After 30 years in Pittsburgh I found my destiny here in The Big Easy. I finally have the combination I needed with my Calicchio 1s7 and #5 1/2 Harry James, Parduba. I marvel at the ease of response and effortless tone production I enjoy. I laugh silently to myself every hour of every gig. Keep searching for the perfect combination my brothers. It's worth everything!

Gee thanks for pointing that out DECENTPLAYER. There's so much I have to learn. And perhaps you too should realize that when I wrote "Brothers" I mean a "Brotherhood" of trumpet players. I don't mean to ignore the fact that there are women playing too. I'm just so glad you are keeping everything politically correct for all the wannabees and never-will-bees on this site. I don't need advice from people who simply own trumpets. I thought this site was for serious players. I'm outta here.

Re: my fellow fanatics

Let's see.... In the past couple of days we have had Andrew McCandless, Michael Sachs, Tony Kadleck, Adam Rapa, Wilmer Wise, Ed Carroll post just to name a few. Pretty serious players there Les.

Decentplayer probably didn't need to do the PC blast but just let it roll of your back, calm down, and enjoy. The majority of us here know what you meant. This is the internet. Lot's of players with lots of different experiences.
