![]() | New Guy Third Try Hi: My name is Larry and I've tried to introduce myself two other times. The thread seems to post, but when I log in later its gone. So here goes---- I'm a comeback player about six months into the project. It's been 40+ years since I last played on a regular basis. I started as an 8 year old and played thru school and the army. Life got in the way(my fault) and while I have always followed trumpet music I only played a few times after that. I'm retired and our community has a New Horizons Concert Band which I play in. My horn is a Conn 22B, that my mom bought in 1954, with a Bach 3c mp. If, only, I had practiced as much as I have recently when I was a kid!! I'm really enjoying the experience. The forum looks great-- I'm looking forward to being a participant. Hope it post correctly this time. |
