New Member - I guess

Hello everyone. I opened a membership this time last year and have hovered around from time to time. Some problems getting logged in were resolved today, thanks to Mike and so here I am. I'm in Delaware and haven't played much in recent years, mainly because of apartment living and not wanted to disturb neighbors. Started in 1965 w/Olds Ambassador which was THE school horn back then. Have enjoyed lots of horns since, Silver Bach Strad 37, Silver Couesnon Lafayette, Olds Ambassador mod to Harrelson Muse my favorite trumpets and 1952 Olds Ambassador in raw brass / Silver Yamaha 2330 wlamb's crook my favorite cornets. Amateur player, not currently worthy of any horn. Migrated to Monette B6 mpc for both cornet and trmt. Hoping to pick trumpet back up soon.

Re: New Member - I guess

Welcome Skip77. You started playing about when I did. I started with a King Cleveland. That was the horn around here at the time. Then moved to Bach Strads, Yamahas, Getzens, Schilke, etc. I also use a Monette B6 for cornet and trumpet. Love 'em. They make a nice flugelhorn mouthpiece too.

Welcome Skip,
Hope the TM site is as useful to you as it is to me. We old trumpeteers have to stick together - I started in 1962.
