![]() | New to the Site Hello out there, I'm Kirk, an old guy (56) in and out of playing since high school. I've been back 'in' for about 4 years now, and in the best shape ever (this is work!). I play an early 80's (LA) Benge 6 with a Schilke 17 mouthpiece. I like the horn, but it's a lightweight. I started playing my Dad's Conn 12A cornet, which I still have. It's an early one; 1937 with the coprion bell. (Does anybody know where I can get a nice lead pipe?). Right now, I am in the Church wind ensemble, our community 'Pops' orchestra, and sub in the community band. So, overcommitting is an issue.. Hope to hear from you! Kirk |
