| New Friend | Re: Numb Chops Says Hi Hey everyone! Do you know why they call me Numb Chops? well, the obvious answer is because my lips are numb. but the history behind is is kinda scary. I had to have jaw surgery last year! I still have some of my baby teeth in and no adult teeth to replace them. So im going to need implants later on. But the thing is, I have a terrible underbite and the implants wont work with that bad bite so i had to have the jaw surgery done. For about four months i could play the trumpet! Talk about scary! I was even in three performing classes at my college and i just had to sit there and not do anything! AAAAH! and then once i was able to play, i felt like i was starting all over again. Now, I am able to play even better than I was before my surgery and my tone even increased. I'm glad i had the surgery, but i would never go through that again! |
