Asher S will become famous soon enough
Older newbie

Howdy,

I'm an amateur jazz bassist in a Boston suburb. I played trumpet back in elementary/middle/high school (private lessons + school band). I'm currently focused on my bass technique, taking occasional private lessons with a Berklee prof, but I'd like to slowly resume my trumpet playing as well. I will be working through "The Art of Jazz Trumpet", in addition to long tones, just like my teacher had me do for the first 15 minutes of each lesson back in the early 1980s!

I've already searched some threads for jazz theory and I think I will learn much from this site!

Asher
