![]() | The Rock Doctor This is my second try. I finally found the "Forum Tools" button and clicked. Please help me learn the site, as I am full of words and love to spill them. My name is Gary F. Player. I am a trumpet player masquerading as a geologist. I have carried my ML Bach Stradivarius from Alaska to Houston and everywhere in between, playing in bands and orchestras wherever I lived. I am currently Principal Trumpet with the Orchestra of Southern Utah in Cedar City. We have the most popular classical music Podcast on line, thanks to our lead trombonist who doubles as a recording engineer and computer nerd. Google us at Orchestra Southern Utah Podcasts and hear some great stuff. I want to join the Bach contest, as I have quite a history with mine. I tell my wife of 43 years that she had better be good, as I have had my other lover for 50 years. "I'll be back," as MacArthur and the Governator would say. Is Warren Berry a member of this site? He and I competed for dance band work at Stanford in the early 1960s. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: The Rock Doctor Welcome to GFPLAYER! Gee, it must be boring being a geologist and stuck in Utah. Next time you are in Eastern Washington give me a PM and we'll check out the Eastern Washington Scablands. Lousy echoes, though. Have fun!
