  | Salute from Roma Hi this is Valerio, trumpet player from Roma, Italia I started playing in 1988 after attending a Miles Davis concert in my hometown. I was 24, gave up my law studies and devoted myself to music and trumpet playing. I had a bad period when a dentist operation damaged a nerve and a dobermann decided to wound my upper lip...nothing which could change my face and prevent me from playing, anyway. I am now mostly playing big bands, learning to improvise and sometimes I play r&b or classical music. Last july Marvin Stamm was in Roma for three days and I studied with him...what a great gentleman and musician!! Valerio |

 | welcome, welcome !! Roma's my favorite town:) just about adopted a cat from the Torre Argentina Sanctuary (he was hit by a car and was there recovering) last time I was in town... cool. -Kelly |

| Valerio, Welcome! I have family in Reggio di Calavria which is pretty far from Rome (Roma). Also, I have a friend who plays the trumpet in Rome, Andrea Tofanelli, of whom I made a post on here in TM. Andrea's trumpet mpc maker is also near Roma.
