![]() | Sam Noto Alive and well in Buffalo,NY. Recently featured with a quintet at the Elmwood Lounge a venue from Absurdia but still a venue. TV stays on while players set up on an eight foot square of hardwood beginning about four feet from the nearest bar stool. Needless to say the acoustics are not a problem if you discount the occasional slide/head collision. Sam plays at least once each summer at the Jazz in the Park series held on the steps of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery overlooking Hoyt Lake. Sam was on the roster with the Boss Brass a while back. He is approaching the 1.5 million sixteenth note milestone. No lack of chops for that man. |
