Broadway shows

I am going in December to New York in Holidays. I live in Argentina so it is fair to say that I am far and not going to return for a few time after that.

I have checked reviews of Broadway shows on the Internet and I find them not too definitive ( Something like it sucks, the music rocks etc.)

Which show do you recomend me to see that is good to see and mostly HEAR, I will be seeing it or them with my sons ( who are trumpet beginers ) and wifey who has a corn in her ears.

Thanks and sorry for bothering you.

Gus

Re: Broadway shows

Hi Gus -

No bother, that's what we are here for!

December is a long way off. Many shows will close and others will open by then. September might be a good time to check and see what's running.

One thing that I would think might be worth seeing is West Side Story. First of all, it's a FULL orchestra and not a watered down version. Second, it's Leonard Bernstein - can't get better than that. And lastly, the trumpet section there is second to none - all great players! Should be fun!

Keep us posted, and feel free to send me a PM as it gets closer.

Tony

Re: Broadway shows

I can recommend South Pacific. A large orchestra with beautiful music.
