Equipment preferences.......

Hi Tony,
Cudos on your work with the Pops here in Boston. You've added just the right "zip" to the fantastic section we are lucky to have here. Can you give us an idea of what your equipment choices are for the many different styles you're called upon to play.

Thanks D.B. Going up to play with the Pops is one of my favorite things to do. I wish it could happen more often. Those guys are fantastic, and it's an honor to be called once in a while.

As far as the equipment goes: Monette B5LM (24 hole) for commercial stuff, and a standard Bach 5B for more classical type things. Until recently, I had been playing a large bore Stomvi Forte Bb. (I'm now working into a Stage 1 trumpet from NYTC). Also, a Stomvi Elite piccolo, Yamaha flugelhorn, Schilke C trumpet, etc...
