First Flight

Hi Tony.
I just heard a cut from the Pete McGuinnes CD First Flight on the radio this morning on my drive in to work. I already ordered it and I can't wait to listen to it. He told me it's a great trumpet section! But I had no doubt anyway. LOL

Thanks Bob. Pete said it was getting some radio play which is great. He's a good guy - I hope it does very well for him!

Re: First Flight

Your Welcome Tony. I hope it does well for him too. It must have been an interesting recording session. He's got so much energy!! I've played some of his music, it's not easy either! But it's good stuff.

Re: First Flight

Hey Tony,
Well I got the CD in the mail the other day and it sounds great. The trumpet section sounds great, solos and ensemble. As usual Pete's arrangements sounded great. I bet it wasn't easy!
Were you on the Tony's award show Sunday night?

Hi Bob.

Thanks. Pete was terrific, I agree!

Yes, I did the "Tony's" last night. It was fun, but long. Glad it's over!

Re: First Flight

Tony,
I watched most of the show, I had to see the final Sopranos episode, but the other TV had the Tony's on! Were you playing lead? The trumpets sounded great. I saw Chorus Line over the winter and I don't remember it sounding as strong as it did last night!
