| Re: Hans Gansch Swings! He sure does! Great clip! Since we are on to Ganschs........ On the same page, there was a trailer for Mnozil Brass's "Trojan Boat". YouTube - MNOZILBRASS trailer of the TROJAN BOAT I can't wait to see these guys again someday. Great stuff! It seems as though Thomas's horn has caught on because the other guys play them now too. | Re: Hans Gansch Swings! Thanks Nick - that was great! I love to see players "crossover". I was never a fan of "this person is a classical player" or "he/she's a jazzer". To me, it's all music. No desciptions needed! TK |

| Re: Hans Gansch Swings! The hosts of that TV show don't seem too impressed by the Green Hornet/Kill Bill performance! Does anyone know anything about those odd trumpets that some of them use? I've never seen one other than Mnozil Brass videos. |

| Re: Hans Gansch Swings! These trumpets are "Ganschhorns" manufactured by the austrian manufacturer Schagerl Schagerl Meisterinstrumente - Instrumentenhandel - Notenversand - CD's - Onlineshop - Schülerinstrumente - uvm. Basically it's a rotary trumpet designed for Thomas Gansch. Tobias |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Hans Gansch Swings! I don't expect that you will be seeing too many of these horns around. They are a very, very light rotary valved Bb with the keys upright like on the piston trumpet. Way too light for symphonic stuff and not the right sound for big band. As a gimmick for Mnozil Brass it is just fine. I played one before Christmas and it had some intonation issues. Not so easy to hold either. |
