See, if you don't know anything about mutes (Hitman) or a trumpet why would you say such a thing. For instance, me, I don't know anything a cup mute (besides what it looks like) so I don't speak. But I'm just saying Hitman, take no offence...

Still working on my doctorate to the ”How to slow down a thread at Trumpetmaster with Fast air Nobel Prize Award”, but at the moment I am totally blown away. I believe that we are at the critical point when Edcon1981 has to call in the Blue(s) Midgets with their holy mackerels to slap in the mutes correctly.

![]() | Re: How far in should a cup mute be? funny stuff, nordland...ha. I will say...back on topic? ... that the Mic A Mute "is" a terrific mute. So far, I think the sound is just fine with all the doo dads on it. Actually louder than a regular cup mute. Maybe my combo will be... loud cup = Mic A Mute. Tight cup = reg cup mute. ?? One more mute I want to get and that's the Eazy Bucket...then, I will be complete.
