Monette Prana B5L Question

Hi Tony ...

Your Monette Prana mouthpiece ... what is the throat size and backbore size? I believe that the "stock" pieces all have a #23 throat and #84 backbore these days. I have a piece that is about five years old with a #77 backbore on it. Just curious.

Thanks !

Re: Monette Prana B5L Question

Magnus -

I use a B5LM with a 24 throat, but it's not a Prana. I had trouble playing the Pranas when they first came out. (I should give it another try.)

My personal mouthpiece is a bit deeper than the stock B5L too.

Thanks -
Tony

Tony ... try that Prana again when you have a second. Alot more tone colors etc. there.

Russell -

Oddly enough, I spoke to Dave M. about an hour ago. He's going to send me some Prana versions of my mouthpiece. I'm excited to check them out!

Re: Monette Prana B5L Question

I don't use the slap version.

Any Monette players out there know the answer to this one?
