![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | New York Trumpet Company I met with Felix from NYTC today. We had only a short time, but his new Stage One Calif. Light trumpets are sensational. (Possibly the best pitch I've ever encountered on a trumpet.) If you are in the market for something new, these are definitely worth looking at. Just my two cents. Best Wishes - Tony |

It is brand new,and a little different from the ones you played at the ITG. I just got 2 of them in,and Tony K actually was the first person to test them. They sound great in his hands.LOL

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I agree Tony! Felix is a good guy to work with. I played a couple of his horns at ITG and they were great. If these are even better they must be damn good |

| New Friend | Here's an interesting story (at least to me) about the Stage 1 horn I have. I bought this horn from Felix back in January of this year and love the horn. Interestingly, I started doing some brass quintet gigs with a local group not long ago (2nd trumpet). After a few rehearsals the leader who plays 1st trumpet points at my horn and says he's concerned about the blend we're getting together. I thought it was kind of silly because this horn is very versitle and will allow the player to color the sound most any way you want. Dark, bright, smokey, whatever you want it can do. I felt the blend was very good, by the way. So, just to keep my new brass family happy I bought Dylan Schwab's (also a Stage 1 player) old Mt. Vernon Bach horn just to play with this brass group. The funny thing is, I have a Stage 1 that out plays this guy's Bach and now I've got a Bach that outplays his Bach. Larry |

| New Friend | Hey Felix, LOL! Another horn, heh? Not just yet, man. My wife needs some adjustment time to get over my last 2, no, make that 3, trumpet purchases I've acquired through your web store during this past year. I'd love to check out that new Stage 1 though. Maybe some future time. Larry |
