Re: NY Pops

Yes! I will be there. (When he was here last year we sadly thought that we may have seen the last of him, but everyone is very excited that he'll be back.) Should be fun!

Thanks -
Tony

Re: NY Pops

Am so looking forward to this years concert. Maybe I could say "Hi". Last year I had the pleasure of meeting Doc. It was quite a thrill for me. And of course, all we talked about was.............Horses!

Re: NY Pops

Well, I went to see Doc's Holiday concert last night with the NY Pops, the Fort Worth-TCU Symphonic Choir and Soprano, Nichole Cambell. It was quite a treat hearing the Orchestra, Choir, a few arrangements for big band, and a tribute to Tommy Newsom. Doc's tone was bright as a bell and he had fantastic range. It was a very fun evening, and especially, getting a chance to chat with Doc afterwards about his new endeavors "El Ritmo de la Vida", his dogs and of course, horses. Was quite a thrill!

What a Christmas Present!

Re: NY Pops

Dow30 is right on the money. Doc is truly amazing, for ANY age! The guy can really move some air. As always, it was a treat just to be around him. I hope we'll see him back again next year.

Tony

P.S. - Great photo!

Re: NY Pops

Hey Tony,

Do you know what equipment Doc was using? Didn't think to ask, as we were talking about so many different things and I was having a rush!
