It was interesting to have Arturo standing next to you while trying out horns. I guess if he said "hey man you sound really good on that...... you need a gig?" You would have to buy it Isnt it cool to be a trumpet player right now TD |

| Mezzo Forte User | Re: Van Laar The silver Bb, the R2, was awesome. I really liked that horn, but not enough to switch from my yamaha. I don't see the R2 on the website...?? Got an e-mail from them about the R2: "The R series trumpets are developed with trumpets of the metropolian orchestra ( holland ) and wdr big band. Cologne germany ) They where made for bigband , so a lot off projection however its possibel to create a warm sound also So its a allround horn with a lot of center and high in the tone . The R1 has a smaller bell and the R 2 a bigger bell."
