Hi there, I am trying to attach a file to use as my profile picture and it keeps coming back and saying unable to save image. The size and kbs are the right ones. I did it as the instructions state to do. Can someone tell me why it doesnt work? Am I restricted from putting a profile picture up since I am a new member? I also emal the administrator but never received a response so thats why i am posting in here with my question. Thanks for any help

Perhaps the file type is incorrect? .gif, .jpg, .tif ?

I also have had a problem uploading a .jpg file. Where are the instructions located? According to my properties, it is under the size limit, but it won't load, either. All help gratefully received....

The file is 80 x 60 9.91 kbs and jpg....still not loading

Try loading that small image as an Avatar, I have the same trouble you are having.

I have tried staying within the size limit for a profile pic and converted to various different file formats including .jpg .png .gif and some others. None of them worked either.

Same trouble on a Motorcycle forum I am a member of as well.

It's not you, seems like a database issue.

This is something the admin should be aware of. maybe they will chime in and shed some light.

Folks, don't get disheartened - it's an aberration I think. Obviously I have managed to get an avatar set but I like to change them every few months. This one, "Tom Terrific and Mighty Manfred the Wonder Dog" has been locked in for a while now and I find that I am unable to change it. I'll keep trying though - as I will with my trumpet playing. Life is about overcoming adversity - hang in there.

Place the image as jpg saved onto your desktop first. Then pick it up from there, through the commands.
