Band Listing Forum

How about a forum where members could post about bands they play with. They could tell about the group, the location, wheter there are any openings, is there an audition required etc.

If there gets to be enough of these posts could they possibly be listed according to geographic location.

I think this would be very helpful because so many of us are looking for opportunities to perform.

Hi Firestas,

At this time we don't think there is a huge need for a forum like that on the TM.

There is a web page that lists bands, but it is far from complete:
Community Band and Orchestra links

I'm not sure if that is the kind of thing you were thinking of. The local orchestra I found is not listed there. I'll talk to the director tomorrow and find out if he would like me to find out how to get it listed.
