Re: Delete My Account Please!

John, I think you are over reacting a little bit. I really don’t think anyone was saying you are a pile of contradictions, if you re read the post, it said that everyone searches and posts anyhow for discussion purposes including himself, myself and everyone else. We try and have a little fun with things and sometimes the wrong things get said or misunderstood.

We are mostly adults here and with any social environment it takes a little understanding to get along with other people, particularly a bunch of egomaniacs like trumpet players with all our delicacies? After all we do play loud brassy horns and love to be heard above the crowd. With all that bravado flinging about sometimes feelings get hurt unintentionally but we pick it up and carry on anyhow.

If a friend told me something that caused offence I would tell them to not be a jerk, sort things out and get on with things.

TrumpetMaster is a great place filled with some wonderful courteous people and a massive amount of musical talent despite the occasional drama that occurs when such egos collide.

I hope you come back and share with us.

Kindest Regards,

Cheers!

johnMak -

No one slammed you. It isn't necessary to take things so personally. We want you to stay. We value your participation, as we do everyone else's.

If you run away every time things get dicey, you are doing yourself a dis-service. Stick in there, stand your ground; you are entitled to your opinion. If we all agreed with each other on everything, TM would be awfully boring. It is different points of view which offer us the opportunity to learn, to grow, to expand our knowledge and horizons.

If sitting on the bench led you to abandon baseball, how do you know what might have happened if you had stuck with it? Don't let that choice become a precedent you must follow, because if you do you will lock yourself out of everything worth doing. The things which come easily to us offer no challenge. Only those which are difficult, which force us to deal with obstacles in our path, will lead us to the accomplishment and fulfillment we seek.

Hey johnMak, I do feel that it is solidly amazing that you are so worked up over comments made by people you don't know. Further more will never meet, get over it and continue to play trumpet, flugel or cornet. That is the ultimate purpose for visiting this site yes.

If you once enjoyed playing with Silent Brass and now prefer playing with a different method of toning down then naturally you are welcome to adjust your preferences.

Relax and enjoy your life, don't stress over internet silliness and someone elses opinion about your opinion.

To all antagonistic trumpetmasterer's, get over yourselves kids. This is a helpful forum if we allow it to be.

If you don't point your browser at TM, you won't be here. That is your choice. You can go away and stay there; you can read but not post (lurk) (and you can even set it so we don't know you are here), or you can stick around.

It is your choice. If you go away, don't go away mad. Anger will eat you up, but it will have no effect on TM or the rest of us. If this is an indication of how you will run the rest of your life, then I fear you are in for a lot of hurt feelings and disappointment.

If I were you I would consider getting my head out of my *%% and starting to grow up.

Don't even even bother to respond unless you agree with me and decide to change your attitude.

Ha! It was only a suggestion, not meaning to add to your work.
