Did the new software dump the chat feature?

Yes the chat is down. But it will be back in the near future.

The employment is down but will be back.

The main page is down. But we will have a new one.

Likewise,

It's clumsey at first; however I'm willing to bet once we're all use to it things will be just fine.

Great work Admin!

This is a GREAT step! On the last software "upgrade", I thought it was quite a bit more clunky than the software we had been using although I understand that the security features were better. This software on the other hand is pretty smooth - I like it a lot and if I'm not mistaken, it's the same forum software that that the Drum Shed drum builder's forum (www.drumshed.org) is using.

I'll like it even better when I can display my avatar again! :)

New problem?

I have only been able to use TM using Internet Explorer not Mozilla. Am I the only one?

I really like the view first unread option.

Brad

Brad,

We haven't seen any problems so far using Mozilla (or any other browser) to view this new site. Does it load at all or are you having problems logging in, or is something else going on?

Good luck with the new software. I wrote on another forum (a travel board) that uses this same software. It took a while for people to get accustomed to the change. You will need to remind people to view all the forums, not just one.

With the old software the first thing I did was check to see if someone had replied to one of my posts, and then I clicked on "posts sisnce your last visit". For people who view the forum as I did it takes quite and adjustment.

I wish you luck -- I love it here. You have nice people and I find that the vast majority of the people who post here treat each other with respect! That makes for a nice neighborhood!
