![]() | We have noticed a bunch of links to eBay ads being listed in our classifieds. Would you prefer a seperate section for Internet Auction Ads or do you like to have those auctions listed with all of the private items for sale? |

![]() ![]() | Re: Your Thoughts on the Classifieds Section needed I think an "ebay" category would be nice to filter out some of the auctions. The thing that bugs me a bit are the ads that have been up for some time and items that most probably have already been sold. |

![]() | Re: Your Thoughts on the Classifieds Section needed Mike- How exactly do "TM Featured Ads" work? I thought that's what I was paying my 2 dollars for when I clicked "highlighted" in my posting. Some of the ads on there are months old. Maybe you could charge a couple extra bucks to be a featured ad. Overall, I like the TM Classifieds. Although I'll like it a lot better after my E3L and Bach/Larson Conversion sell -Jimi |

![]() | Re: Your Thoughts on the Classifieds Section needed Hi Jimi, Sorry for any confusion there. All ads that include an image have a shot of appearing on the forum index "featured ads". I guess that should be named "random ads" Ads that appear in that section are pulled at random from those that have images. no image = no shot of appearing on the forum index If you go under Eb trumpets you will notice your ad is both highlighted and bold (that is what you paid for) It stands out more. Just like if you were to pay for those options on eBay To place an ad in our classifieds is always free. When we first used this software we had the ability to bold and highlight free as well. We noticed everyone was doing it and it made the classifieds look like a mess and nothing stood out. We decided to set it up so that it is $1 to bold and $1 to hgihlight. Things look a lot better now because not everyone wants to do it. Those who do choose to pay $1 might notice higher click throughs because their ad is more eye catching. Thanks, Mike Quote:

| Re: Your Thoughts on the Classifieds Section needed I think a seperate area for auctions would be good. Time limits on ads is a good idea as well. |

| Re: Your Thoughts on the Classifieds Section needed I agree. I think we can warrant a separate internet auction section in the marketplace. |

| Re: Your Thoughts on the Classifieds Section needed Another vote for the auction listing being seperate. Also, for all regular ads . I would like to see a price ! No more Best Offers , or ???? If they want to fish for the best offer, have them go to Ebay or other auction sites. I want to know how much the item is. I don't think that's asking too much.
