Even though it's not on youtube, I've gotta vote for Video Stardust - Clark Terry 1967 - modern, jazz, swing - Dailymotion Share Your Videos

and

Video JATP Gillespie 1967 - jazz, modern, Gillespie, Granz, wilson - Dailymotion Share Your Videos

and

Video Clark Terry 5 - Clark, Terry, jazz, trumpet, Brookmeyer - Dailymotion Share Your Videos

I really tried to pick just one but I couldn't!!
I guess I tipped my hand on my favorite trumpet player though didn't I...

Re: Favorite YouTube clips!

Hi Ingrid, I saw you on Youtube diggin' the sounds of some guys making music in the subway, but I'd love to see a clip of you playing. When can we see one? Anyone here has a clip of Jensen playing that they can post?
I really liked the clips of:
Dizzy and Andre
Wynton playing Cornet Chop Suey, Wow!
and Wynton and Hoots the Owl. I love the expressions that Wynton makes on this clip.

Someone stated this before regarding the same video:

Re: Favorite YouTube clips!

Oh man! that Clark clip is BEAUTIFUL! I actually didn't watch the whole time, had to close my eyes and just dig on it.
this is fun, so now for something NOT trumpet but equally impressive, anyone who has ever been a competitive equestrian (as I attempted to be in my early days) will appreciate.... http://beboframe.com/FlashFrame.jsp?...xId=3309347442
(the music and play by play are pretty corny-but check out the horse!)
If only more drummers out there had such good time!
Re:flapping, that explains why my screen is covered with little dots of spit.
thanks all...off to lift some CT~
