| New Friend | Jensen I saw Jensen Perform on friday night at the CSU Haward Hills campus. She sure likes to use her electronic sound stuff. One piece she played, she used recorded bits of what she had played before on a loop and she ended up playing over herself. it was really cool. very illustrative. it sounded just like the ocean. She also liked using the echo devices. What do you guys think about that? Another thing, she played strait in the microphone and was playing nice and loud but she kept telling he sound guys to turn up the volume. I didnt understand that part. Maybe for different sound quality? Last edited by Numb Chops : 04-23-2007 at 09:11 PM. |

| Re: Jensen ha! thanks for coming to the gig-I'm here. One of the issues that I have to deal with when using the effects is that I need to hear them in order to play off of them. I was asking for more sound in my monitor so that I could hear what I had looped so that I could compose something over top on the next track. The sound man and I were still getting to know one another as far as signals go and the sound system was a bit limited- he did a great job though despite the small system.thanks for your candid question. As for the bees,...As you can imagine living in NS I know a few farmers with bees and yes they lost about 70% of their hives. It totally weird, but I was told the winter was so long they didn't store all the food they needed.... | |
