2007 Eclipse Contest!

Leigh McKinney of Eclipse Trumpets has just informed us that he will be running his fantastic contest once again. The prize is being built and we are told it should be done in about 4 weeks. Keep your eyes on this forum for your chance to win an Eclipse Trumpet!

Excellent! That was one of the highlights of my year last year! I had so much fun building that giant trumpet with my boys and writing the story about Silverstar.

It's really exciting to get to be creative, and show my boys that "winning" isn't everything. I think they were genuinely excited when I told them who won the prize and then I had the opportunity to model being a "good loser". A great lesson there!

Thanks for continuing to run this contest each year Leigh!

Chuck, is there a tuning slide on the leadpipe? If so, I can't see a separation in the tubing.

No,

One of the things that make Eclipse Trumpets unique, is that Leigh has designed the horns and has moved the tuning slide to the bell bow, or crook.

There is an uninterupted air flow to the valve block.
