1918 E.A. Couturier Conical Cornet (pristine!!)

Here's a rare and beautiful player and collectors item. Great sound from 1918 in nickle/silver. Finish, engraving, and lack of dents is amazing for a horn this age. It is a Bb cornet but can be put into "A" by turning the cylinder knob. Valves and slides are free moving. There's an S stamped on the middle valve casing. serial # 1961. A horn like this in this condition is almost impossible to find. It comes with another slide, and the original case. No mouthpiece. I'm asking $600.00 for this gem but willing to negotiate. The photo file is too big to attach here. You can email me at [email protected] for photos. You can call tom-(352)373-1404 for questions.

Lots of old horns...some Bachs, Some conns, A Getzen or two...
The music is in the player, not the horn. Find the sound in yourself first.

Unless I'm missing something, 147 is not a bore size.

Thanks for your reply. Scratch the bore size. Let's just take the 'S' on the middle valve casing and go with that. I'll see if I can edit that bore size out of the post.
