    King silver tone "artist bore"

I have a beautiful King silver tone "artist bore" for sale. The valves were fairly recently replated and are like new. Compression is great, and its a wonderful looking horn. I was really liking it, but I just like my main horn better and don't need this one. This horn is quite a player! I'm not sure what I would sell this horn outright for so if you want to buy it send me an offer.

I would really love to trade this horn for a flugelhorn. Send me an email at [email protected] for more info/pictures.

I would like to learn more about this horn. General forum discussion would be great

I sent an email. However, this horn might be fun for the forum to chat about. Is this horn a pre 1932 Liberty? Who worked on the valves?

Re: King silver tone "artist bore"

I was looking through some old threads and posts on the King Liberty. I found this one.

"The king liberty is a really cool horn. I Rebuilt this trumpet myself actually. I installed a pilczuk lead pipe and fabricated a new tuning slide and tuning slide tubes. It also has olds style lead pipe to bell braces. I did a brush finish on the horn and clear polished brass on the inside of the bell. It has good compression and the pistons move really well, but it needs new valve guides. I don't have the tooling to make them myself unfortunately. The third slide moves well too. I call this horn my frankenliberty.

I'm asking $1000 for the Kanstul burbank and $600 for the Frankenliberty.

Also open to trades for a flugelhorn"

Is this the same horn for trade now?
