Schilke X3 Reverse Leadpipe Silver Plated Pro Bb Trumpet Circa 1971

For sale is this Schilke X3 Reverse Leadpipe Silver Plated Professional Bb Trumpet including a vintage hard shell case (no mouthpiece). The serial number is 51xx which dates the horn to circa 1971.

This instrument has been well cared for by its former owner and is in excellent playing condition. This horn features a reverse leadpipe for a quicker response and playing agility. This is a very free blowing horn with its 0.463" large bore.

Its original silver plated finish is 99% without tarnish or plating wear with some very light surface scratches. There are no dents, re-solders, patches, or evidence of any past trauma or repairs. There is no red rot.

The valve action is quick and smooth with good compression. All valve tuning slides move freely.

Included is a vintage hard shell case in fair condition both inside and out. Both front latches open and close adequately to securely house the trumpet. However, this case has seen better days and is well worn.

All photos are on my vivacebiz.weebly.com/for-sale website.

Asking $1595 plus shipping and any fees. Sorry, no trades.

Ships from West Chester, OH 45069. Will also ship to Canada, Europe, U.K., Japan and Australia with buyer paying shipping and fees.
