| New Friend | Re: WTB: Pro horn For $200, I say look for an Old Ambassador that's in good shape. They're some of the best playing/sounding "student" horns ever made, IMHO. I highly doubt you're going to find anything in the "pro" area that's worth anything for $200. New leadpipes cost that much. Better to spend the money on an Olds. That's my 2 cents. |

![]() | Re: WTB: Pro horn Heck, that'll take years! I have to save money for colledge, but yet I really want a nice professional horn. Everyone else at school has one except me. Funny thing actually, they have the right equipment, yet I still have first chair!!! You guys should see the way these people treat them! I treat my china horn as if it were my child! - along with the rest of my horns.

![]() | Re: WTB: Pro horn Costs and description aside, I agree with Virtuoso2B; give the Olds Ambassador a serious look at 200 bucks. You can find a good 'un. It will see you thru College, and First Chair with an Olds Ambassador ain't anything new... BTW a few dings from College parties won't make you cut your wrists. And after all it is the sound that matters, and Olds Ambassadors sounds good. Built like a Tank.

![]() | Re: WTB: Pro horn I plan to go to college in Virginia. VMI. (Virginia Military Institute). Not sure if they would allow parties that crazy! I might have to look at that horn, even though it doesn't meet my expectations. Oh well, I had a job until there became a new owner that kicked us all out. Can't find a job around here because your more than likely to get shot or mugged. Scary world...
