 | WTB: Rotary valve trumpet Hey everybody, Do you guys know where I can find a good rotary valve trumpet at a low price? One of my friends got one from Germany for about $700. I've been wanting one for a while but I cant pay $700 right now.

| Re: WTB: Rotary valve trumpet Wow, if he got a rotary trumpet that's even half decent for $700 that's an absolute steal! If you want a horn with any real quality you'll need to be prepared to spend at least $2,000-3,000 for a reasonable used rotary... |

I don't know the cost of rotary valves vs pistons. So, why does a rotary trumpet cost $2000-$3000? Where does the additional cost come from? If the cost is not more, then there is a lot of profit. Maybe you should start making and selling them.

I dont know the name on the valves though, but they are german!!I also buildt several Monette clones, but a guy from Nepal took them when he returned to his country! #&%*#&%%!!!!!
