WTS- 1950 Conn 28B Constellation "Concert Grand"
Hello all TMers!
This horn is being sold by me for a friend. It is a vintage 1950 Conn Constellation 28B. It is in nice shape with the only big problem being a slight bend/dent at the main brace. There are also some places where the lacquer is worn. We've cleaned up the horn and oiled everything. It works great! I played it and went the entire range of the horn (pedal C to double A); works great. All the valves are very fast and the slides move freely. This horn is all original (case, mouthpiece, everything!). He said that his grandfather bought it 50 years ago to play taps at veterans funerals and it has been around in his grandfathers house ever since. My friend said that he wants this horn to have a good home (seeing as he doesn't play it... he's a horn player). He is asking $700 (including shipping to the Continental US). Email me at slt5103@gmail.com with any inquiries or questions. Thanks for looking.
