Talking WTS: Bach 43 in Raw Brass $800 firm

SOLD

I just bought a new car (YAY!) so I have to sell some horns (BOO!).

I have an older Bach Serial #190,XXX in raw brass. Metal valve guides, tight valves and slides. Great playing and sounding horn. I just prefer my 43 Sterling Silver model more and don't need to keep it.

800.00

no case or mpc included

SOLD

Trent,

$800 for that horn is a steal! Take some aspirin. You must have a fever. (All of you Bach fans better grab it before I do.)

Ok now I need a funny quote to fit in here...
How about:
"How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Take a cab."
Ok maybe not too funny, but it's original. I'll work on it.

Couesnon Flugel
Hub Van Laar Oiram Flugel & Trumpet (brushed gold)
Marcinkiewicz Mic Gillette Rembrandt (silver/gold)
Monette Ajna II (brushed gold)
Taylor X-Lite (raw brass)
100+ others I wish I could keep.

I have a bunch of horns I need to sell to help pay off my new car (which is awesome!). That is a solid price for that horn.

I enjoy looking at your shop as well and checking out the toys you have on the site!

Hey Trent.... how's the valve seal and compression? Any blow by? Have any repairs been done in the past? I've wanted to try a 43.... don't need it, but what's that got to do with anything... right?

Freddie Hubbard is gone.

Re: WTS: Bach 43 in Raw Brass $800 firm

Why not come up to Salem sometime and try it out. Send me a PM and I'll block an hour out for you to try a few trumpets!

I actually will be selling about 6-8 horns in the next few weeks. I'm starting a little side business of horns and mouthpieces (formal announcement TBA soon) out of my house.

The horn is tight for its age. Not 100% but excellent for the vintage. The horn seems to have no previous major repairs. I'm not the original owner.

Cheers,
T

Is this 43 a 43*, lightweight, or a standard weight?

Thanks
