 | WTS: Calicchio Professional Trumpet-$1295. WTS: This is a Calicchio professional Trumpet. It is in mint condition. It has just been thoroughly cleaned, including buffing and greasing the slides and cleaning and oiling the valves. All top and bottom valve caps are easily removed. Everything works smoothly and it plays and sounds like an original handmade professional instrument. "Trompeta, di tutti trompeta " is how Domenick described this model. Its strong, rich, focused sound with the well known Calicchio characteristic efficiency and ease of playing lend themselves to the demands of the modern trumpet player. With an open upper register and quick response, it will allow you to either lead a section with its effortless projection, play a solo with a lyrical, haunting sound or sit in the section and blend with any and all you meet. ML is the most popular bore size. This particular trumpet was made in 2002. It was probably one of the last trumpets assembled by Chris Calicchio according to Chris himself.
