This is a like new King 2070L Legend trumpet with serial number 718540 which indicates 1975-1980. This is the large bore edition (0.462 inch) for a big, full sound. Played very lightly for 1 school year only, and taken extremely good care of. This trumpet works very well, has a beautiful sound, and all slides and valves work perfectly. There is one VERY small ding on the bell, but it is only noticeable upon close inspection, and does not effect the instrument. This trumpet features a beautiful limited edition design on the bell, which I attempted to get a picture of but it is difficult to see with the reflection. Includes a very durable hard case with briefcase style combination locks, two mouthpieces (UMI 3C which came new with the trumpet and was used only a handful of times, and Vincent Bach 7C). It also has King's patented modular valve weight system (MVW), which includes 6 small weighted valve caps and 3 large ones. These are bottom valve caps used to adjust the weight of the instrument, the feel, and also for fine tuning the sound. However, 3 regular valve caps are also included if you do not have interest in the weighted ones. Also includes a cleaning snake. Please contact me if you are interested.

I might be interested. Are you sure about the date of manufacture? I believe this is only a few years old. It's hard to tell for sure from the pictures, but is this silver or lacquer?

It is a lacquer finish. I purchased the horn new in 2006. The date of manufacture I posted is what the Conn-Selmer website suggested for the serial number. See the link Welcome to Conn-Selmer, Inc.
