This is an excellent horn less then a year old in flawless condition. I am selling it so I can buy a flugel, it's a large bore instrument which I found isn't for me and the gig that I'm doing at the moment.

About 6 months ago I had a $250 valve alignement done by Ron Partch, Toronto's best brass repairmen which made the intonation much more superb. He added waterproof (some kind of sylicone) valve felts which are custom fit for each valve.

If you are looking for a large bore instrument this horn is for you. It a great jazz horn, and will cut easily as a lead horn as well. I love the way it feels in the hands, really light and responsive. The Valves are unbelievable! ZeuS trumpets are designed by a Canadian designer and are manufactured by Kanstul. It's really a beautiful horn and is often mistaken for a Monette because of its elegance and the gold plating. The tone is velvety but sizzles when pushed.

Because of high gold prices this horn cost me $3000 Canadian dollars (at the time american was still stronger). Its list price was/still is $2850 USD. Comes with a black ProTec DOUBLE trumpet case and two (2) gold plated ZeuS Aegis mouthpieces, 'F2' (deeper cup for nice rich sound) and a 'LA' (shallower lead piece with the same confortable rim)
