WTS Bach 239 Large Bore

This horn is SOLD!!!!

This is a large bore Bach Strad which is perfect for your orchestra job or for playing hymns at church (if you'd rather not transpose.) Valves have great compression and all the slides operate flawlessly as you would expect. Silver is 100 percent.
This horn is in pristine condition with no dents. It is silver and has a 25S leadpipe which plays very much like a B flat trumpet. There is no need for alternate fingerings with this horn. Why am I selling it?
My teacher/friend Don Tison has offered me his backup horn as he has retired from 31 years as principal with the Baltimore Symphony. He plays an S pipe as well and based on his recommendation, I originally found and configured this horn.
Valves are perfect. Serial number is in the 553XXX range which places the horn new in early 2001.
This horn was originally used by "The President's own" in Washington DC. At that time, it had a Blackburn leadpipe. Rich Ita replaced that setup with an S pipe. The result is a horn that plays, looks and sounds great!!!
I'm asking $1200 which is more than reasonable for this horn.
Shipping is $25 in the CONUS.
