WTS: Eastman ETR-530S C Trumpet

SOLD!

Here's your chance to pick up a great-playing C trumpet for cheap!

I bought an Eastman ETR-530S from Anaheim Band about two years ago to loan to my students in my youth orchestra to play, and also counted on learning trumpet myself. They've all arrived in rehearsals with their Bach, Stomvi, and other assorted horns and they've always surprised at how well this (cough) "cheap horn from china" plays.

Fast forward to the present, and most of my players all have their own instruments that are much more costly than this (seems we have very lucky kids with parents who don't mind shelling out for Yamaha Chicago Customs!), and I've decided to stick with my new Yamaha Bb for the time being. This C sees very little playing use these days, and would probably serve well for the occasional orchestral player.

It is in great condition with minimal surface wear on the silver plate, plays well in tune, and blows very freely (not a stuffy instrument at all). The valves are fantastic, and the trumpet has gotten a regular checkup and cleaning every few months. I'm a grade 4-12 orchestra director as well as private instructor (not on trumpet though haha) and take very good care of all my instruments. I'm asking $500 for this C trumpet.

If you're interested, here's a somewhat large (2.6MB) high resolution picture of the instrument:
