![]() | SOLD- Kanstul Chicago Copper C Trumpet, aligned SOLD Hi everyone, High detail pictures can be seen here. Pictures by cbt5020 - Photobucket I'm selling a 99.9% mint condition Kanstul 1510 Copper Chicago C trumpet (serial number 31474). It was purchased 2 years ago and has been played a total of approximately 20 hours. It was babied. At first, I did not like the blow or feel of this horn, so I had it worked on by Priscilla at PICK music in PA (valve fitting), Bob Reeves in California (valve alignment to .000), and Zig Kanstul for a complete rehaul and refitting of all the slides. After about six months of shipping it around the country, it plays very well in tune and is very even throughout the entire range of the horn. The blow is even in all registers, the sound is darker, and in my opinion, more resonant than most Bach's I've played. Finish is 100%. A Leather Specialties full coverage hand guard was used on this horn for the short time it was played. I can include this with the trumpet if the winning bidder requests. The only flaw on the horn is a fruit fly sized crack on the third valve button. This was done when Bob Reeves marked/stamped it during the valve alignment, and in no way affects the function of the horn. I'm selling this C trumpet since it simply does not get played enough. Too many toys! Original Price- $1795.00 + apprx. $400 additional for custom work. Check my seller feedback! I'm sorry, I will NOT ship this out of the USA. PLEASE don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I'll try to respond to all questions in as short amount of time as possible! Good luck! Price- please contact me!
