Gold-plated Lechner orchestermodel rotary C trumpet. Purchased new in the fall of 2006 for $4400 here in Seoul, South Korea. The horn in practically new condition being only lightly used in the orchestra. The horn is mounted with the standard high-C Vienna key.

After trying several different brands over the years, including Monke, Thein and Ganter, I found that the ease of response, good intonation and sweet sound of the Lechner matched my playing quite well. I think this horn is a good choice for players whos primary instrument is a piston C, as these qualities will help in the transition from the style and feel of a piston to the rotary horn. In my opinion, matching this horn with a Breslmair mouthpiece is the perfect choice.

Regretably, I am selling this horn because our orchestra is in the process of buying a new set of rotaries and I will be playing a different brand to match the set. The price includes shipping costs from Korea. Please feel free to e-mail with any questions. Pictures available upon request.
