  | WTS: New York Bach C Custom NY Bach C trumpet Serial number 38XX, 25-62, Large .462 bore, 25 bell, 6C leadpipe, raw brass. This was a custom horn built for me by Jim Becker. It began as a long bell (longer than the normal bell) L bore Bach cornet, Jim removed the leadpipe, cut the slides to C, mounted a Mt. Vernon 6C leadpipe I had, built a custom tuning slide and put the whole thing together. It has an expanding bore from the beginning of the leadpipe to the .462 bottom leg of the tuning slide to balance out the larger 25 bell. The end result was pretty great, the horn has good intonation and a nice round sound, if you use a Curry TF/TC or Reeves C2J mouthpiece it would make an excellent C cornet. $2800  Dylan Schwab - For Sale
