Talking WTS: Home-made Bud Light trumpet mutes

Okay, guys, I have finallly finished my four pack of Bud Lite. I'm not much of a drinker, and it takes me a while. There was a pretty good response to my earlier posts about these mutes, so I thought I would try to sell a few.

Here's the youtube video that gave me the idea.

The mutes end up looking really cool, and sound great. They make the pitch of both of my trumpets slightly sharper than without mute, but intonation is constant once that is taken into account.

When all is said and done, I have around $3.00 in each of these, plus the time to drink the contents and make the mutes. I'll sell them for $10.00 each, which includes domestic shipping/handling by US mail. Compare this to cost of commercially produced mute and you'll see the deal you are getting.

If you're willing to wait a fewdays, I will also drink... errrrr, fabricate a mute for you in traditional Budweiser red. The Bud Light mutes are blue, have cork spacers at neck, are unique, and look great in horn.

NOTE: My mutes use three cork spacers at neck rather than complete circle of cork shown in video. I haven't figured out how to cut the cork for the "full collar" look yet.

Email orders to hawksao@verizon.net, I accept PayPal. My eBay username is hawksao if you want to check out my feedback. I'm here to have fun, not rip anyone off.

Scott

Re: Home-made Bud Light trumpet mutes

I just got mine - nice work, nice product, and very fast service (even counting a little extra time to drain a can of real beer instead of that Lite stuff).
