WTS: New Trumpet Concerto

Want to sell.
Is anyone interested in trying my new Trumpet Concerto which I have just had published?
The first performance is planned for 30th June in the Sage Gateshead, UK with a Championship section brass band and a fantastic young trumpet player from the area
The piece is moderately difficult to hard, in 3 movements. Majestic, Andante Cantabile and Allegro Giocoso. The musical style is very accessible with a hint of jazz, pop/rock .
In the North East of England we are all very excited about the piece and it has had great reviews in rehearsal.
Once I've become familiar with this site I'll try and post an extract up, but I have to say the piece is great to play, absolutely beautiful in parts and I hope will turn out to be a favourite amongst players all over the world.
The Trumpet / Piano score is available for £12.00 and Orchestral and Brass band parts are also available for purchase or hire.
Steve

Re: WTS: New Trumpet Concerto

Hi Matt
Thanks for the note. It will cost £20 or $30 including P&P to send you the Trumpet part and Piano reduction. (The book also includes a CD with a performance, synth backing track and Piano reduction backing track)
If you wanted the Score and parts for either Orchestra or Brass band it would be £50 to include P&P ($75)
If you'd like a copy please contact me via my email - stevehalsey@hotmail.co.uk
I'm getting great feed back from players so far. They say it's rather like the Arutyunyun in that it gives enough challenge to Intermediate to top players whilst being very accessible in style.
Best wishes
Steve

Re: WTS: New Trumpet Concerto

Hi Chuck
The soloist is called Tom Rushton. HE's a recent graduate from Newcastle University and he's just started working for me with the Newcastle Schools Music SErvice. The band is Fishburn Brass band. They're in the Championship section and the best band in the North East of England. WE're hoping to make a recording of the piece just prior to the concert and I'll try to make it available for people to hear.
Best wishes
Steve
